Pre-Employment Screening
We conduct pre-employment screenings prior to your start date to ensure that you are fully suitable to commence employment with us. This is also done to ensure that we are in line with the standards of the Financial Conduct Authority.
The checks include:
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Public Safety Verification
• Verification of activity – covering up to 5 years. This will require references from all employees and educational institutions within this period
• Credit referencing
• Criminal Record Checks also known as Disclosure Barring Service
Here’s a list of documents you may be required to provide to process these checks:
• Valid passport or suitable immigration document
• Valid driving license (if you have one)
• Proof of residence – covering up to 3 years
• References from all employers within the past 5 years
• References from all educational institutions within the past 5 years
• Where necessary, we may ask you to provide other types of documents that show evidence of employment, education & gaps in employment
